The Asana toolkit lets LLMs interact with Asana via Arcade, enabling task management, project navigation, and workspace administration through 19 tools.
Capabilities
- Task lifecycle — create, retrieve, update, mark as completed, search without an ID, and fetch subtasks
- File attachments — attach files to tasks from raw text, base64-encoded binary content, or an external URL (mutually exclusive inputs)
- Projects & tags — list and retrieve projects and tags; create new tags in a workspace
- Teams & users — list all teams or only the current user's teams; retrieve individual teams and users; list workspace members
- Workspace & context discovery — list and retrieve workspaces visible to the authenticated user, providing the context needed to scope other operations

This toolkit uses OAuth 2.0 via the Asana provider. See the Arcade Asana auth provider docs for setup details.
